Any iPhone or iPad with iOS 18 or later. On iPhone Duo the cover appears on the outer display when you fold it, and the two-page reader uses the inner display. On other iPhones the cover greets you when you come back to the app after a while; on iPad you can read two pages side by side.

Tap + on your shelf and choose Add from Files, Add from Photos or Save a web page. Several photos picked at once are bound into one album, in the order you pick them. From Safari, Mail or any other app, use the Share button and choose DuoPage.

PDF, ePub (DRM-free), Word .docx, TXT, Markdown, HTML and images. ePub, Word, text and web pages are converted into a PDF with a table of contents when you import them. Books bought from stores that use DRM cannot be opened.

Yes. Create a shelf for each class, project or genre, and sort by recently read, title, date added or cover color. Long-press a book to move it to another shelf, pin it as the cover, lock it or edit its cover.

While reading, tap Aa and choose the page layout. You can also change the paper color (white, cream, sepia or night), turn off the page sound or haptics, and adjust the margins.

On your device, alongside the book. To share them, tap Share in the book and choose PDF with marks — the exported file includes your markup — or Share notes for your page notes.

Yes. Pens, highlighter, eraser and ruler work with your finger or Apple Pencil, and notebooks come in plain, lined, grid, dot and Vietnamese school paper.

Long-press the book on your shelf and choose Lock. Opening it then needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. DuoPage never sees your biometric data — iOS handles it.

Tap the ✨ button while reading to summarise a chapter, ask a question and see which pages the answer came from, or make flashcards for revision.

Yes. Go to Settings → Offline AI and download one of the offline models (Qwen3). The recommended one is picked for your device’s memory:

Once downloaded, the model works without an internet connection. You can delete it at any time in the same screen.

Never. Both Apple Intelligence and the offline models run entirely on your device. The only network request is downloading the model file itself, and it contains nothing about you or your books.

Yes — like any language model, they can miss things or make mistakes. That’s why every answer cites its pages: tap a page number to check the source.

Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought it with, then open Settings → Restore purchase. If it still doesn’t work, email us with the date of purchase (not your payment details).

Yes. DuoPage Pro supports Family Sharing, so up to five family members in your Family Sharing group can unlock it on their own devices at no extra cost.

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the DuoPage purchase.

Your books are part of your device’s iCloud or computer backup, depending on your settings. DuoPage doesn’t sync between devices yet; to move a book, export it as a PDF and open it on the other device.

The file, its cover and its notes are removed from the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.

Your books, notes and questions never leave your device. DuoPage collects anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase), and RevenueCat keeps a record of Pro purchases so they can be restored. None of it includes book titles, file names or content, and none of it is used for advertising. Read the full Privacy Policy.

DuoPage only shows notifications — occasional news about new features — if you allow them in Settings → Notifications inside the app. To stop them, turn them off in the iOS Settings app → Notifications → DuoPage.
